In a statement today, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) reaffirmed its round-the-clock efforts to enforce the law firmly, fairly, and without discrimination, particularly in addressing actions that threaten the safety and security of citizens.

The PSD reported the arrest of several individuals who were either observed or identified based on information received for firing live rounds during election gatherings in various areas.

These individuals have been referred to the relevant authorities for legal and administrative action, with the Directorate emphasizing that anyone caught firing live ammunition will be arrested.

Additionally, the statement noted that vehicles obstructing traffic or endangering road safety were impounded. Vehicles with altered or concealed license plates were also ticketed and seized.

The Directorate added that it is continuing to monitor any legal violations or traffic offenses that pose a threat to public safety, ensuring the law is enforced through ongoing surveillance and investigation of all reports and information received.
